12 – 13 April
Last weekend was all about eating. Auckland was blessed with beautiful weather and we ventured out to Ponsonby on Saturday for brunch at Foxtrot Parlour Cafe, a quick drink/meeting at Bedford Soda and some retail therapy on Ponsonby Road. I purchased a nifty little Steep & Go device that you can screw onto plastic drink bottles and brew cold tea!
Sunday was spent with friends at The Apothecary Cafe for a catch up and lunch and I spent the rest of the day doing nothing in particular.
Lately, work has been very demanding and it’s nice spending the weekend with friends and family, which is a great way to de-stress. I’m very glad that Easter is just round the corner! I’m looking forward to a short work week.
If you’re into doughnuts, be sure to make your way to Foxtrot Parlour in Ponsonby Central and order their famous doughnut. You get to choose from several different fillings and it comes in a metal syringe which you use to inject the liquid. Fillings including salted caramel, Valrhona chocolate and berry coulis.
