Haul: Melbourne

Shopping is an addiction | Melbourne is an absolute shopping paradise and the number of shops and retailers are endless. I’m here to share with you my haul during my long weekend in Melbourne.

David Jones |  SKII, originating from Japan, is a popular skin care brand in Asia. Wanting to find a skin care range that can help me rid of my horrible sunspots, I decided that it’s time to splurge and try the SK II Spot Expert line. I purchased the whitening source clear lotion (150ml) and the Whitening Source Derm Brightener (75g). They were also doing a special Pitera Essence Set where if you purchase their signature Facial Treatment Essence (75ml), you get a free Facial treatment clear lotion (30ml) and a Facial Treatment Mask for free!

Bei Dian (Viv’s Beauty Store) |  Hidden on the first floor within a random building on Bourke Street Mall, we came across a small  store that sold a large assortment of skin care and cosmetics, with a majority from Asia. Doing a sheet mask is how I relax after a long day and I purchased a good variety of different brands including Nature Republic, Tony Moly, My Beauty Diary and Etude House.

Zara | We were only a short ten minute walk from Zara, so this was one of the first store we stopped by in Melbourne. I didn’t manage to find any clothes, but even if I did, the line to the changing rooms were ridiculous. However, I managed to find two pairs of shoes for around 75% off and took them home for only $50 AUD.

Myers | I have an obsession with red lipstick so I managed to add another one into my collection. This time, I tried the Giorgio Armani Rouge d’armani lipstick in Rogue 400. Giorgio Armani’s best-selling lipstick, this has an exceptional 8 hour long-wear formula and glides on like a dream. I love the magnetic closure and the elegant black lacquered case.

Interestingly enough, the majority of my purchase were skin care related. I didn’t manage to see much clothing items that I liked, but it could also be because the weather was simply too hot and sticky to try on clothes. This calls for another weekend in Melbourne!
