Sunday Kitchen: Broccoli and Bacon Salad.

My all-time favourite salad; I originally got the recipe from my oldest sister but I tweaked it slightly to suit my own taste by adjusting the ratio of ingredients.

You will need: Two broccoli, cut into small florets | 3/4 small red onion, finely diced | 300 gms diced bacon, fried | 1/4 cup vinegar | 1/3 cup mayonnaise | 1 tbsp sugar

Ingredients can be adjusted to suit your liking. You can choose to add more or less white vinegar, depending on your taste preference. I have increased the amount of bacon and mayonnaise compared to the original recipe as I like the saltiness of the bacon and the taste of the mayonnaise.

A great side to accompany any meat or pasta dish.
