wishlist: 3.1 phillip lim pashli satchel

i’ve always liked the 3.1 phillip lim pashli satchel,Β but the sizing had always bothered me. It was first released with only one size (28 x 38 x 10 cm), which i believe was slightly too large for shorter people like myself. They later released the mini version (18 x 23 x 9 cm), but the dimensions were too small for me to carry my daily essentials.

I even ventured into the 3.1 phillip lim store when i was holidaying in HK to see whether it will appear ‘smaller’ in real life. i came to the conclusion that, because of the size, this bag was not for me.

3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli Satchel

However, the wonderful people at Phillip Lim decided to release the medium-sized pashli (25.5 x 35.5 x 10 cm) which in my eyes, is just right. Big enough to fit all my belongings and small enough for my petite frame!

therefore, the medium pashli satchel has officially made its way to my wish list!

what do you think?

  1. Looks nice! good for everyday use. In this color?

  2. I’ve been obsessed with yellow lately! I love the coral colour at shopbop tho!

  3. Love it in yellow and the expanding zip bit is genius. You post reminds me of the story of Goldilocks and the three bears.

  4. It’s a great size, totally recommend it for anyone who loved the OG Pashli but found it way too big for them! I just got it in black w/ gold hardware from Barneys :)

  5. I agree. The original Pashli was too big and I found the size slightly awkward for people with a shorter stature. I’m still undecided on whether to purchase this or the PS 11. Decisions decisions!

  6. mm the PS11 is very nice too! I think if you want a crossbody (something for hands-free carrying), def the PS11 cause the crossbody on the Pashli isn’t the greatest. But if you don’t mind mainly carrying the bag, the Pashli is amazing!

  7. That’s a really good point! I prefer to carry my bags via the strap (off my shoulder) rather than by hand. Thanks for the advice!
